Harry was born in Holland in 1966 and is an industrial designer with a degree from the Design Academy of Eindhoven. He also studied for his Master’s degrees at the Domus Academy in Milan, in 1994. In 1998 he set up his own design studio in Milan in 1998 and in 2002, moved the studio to Barcelona, but he still spends time in his adopted home of Italy, working with different manufacturers of design items. Harry is well known for their mysterious items, vibrant example of 21st-century design. The futuristic forms are reminiscent of technology applied to high speeds, with images designed around aeronautical performance, fantasy of flight on aeroplane wings, voyages through time, and ships. The resulting design approach focuses on experimentation with materials and topology. Harry’s works have been shown all over the world. and they have won various awards, including the oldest and most important: the GOOD DESIGN AWARD from the Chicago Atheneum.
His collaboration with TVS has resulted in the scintillating Dèco.
