Designer Furniture Fair - Salone del Mobile & Fuori Salone – Milan
During design week in Milan, TVS was involved in an intensive
programme of additional events to the Salone Internazionale del
Mobile - Fuori Salone – which animated the entire city of
Milan from 13 to 19 April, with two initiatives: Around Food and
Chez Eloise - 3 Previews at La Rinascente department store.
On 15 April, the first floor of La Rinascente hosted "Chez Eloise":
an event by TVS, the firm of Matteo Thun & Partners and
Salvarani. Architect and cooking enthusiast, Eloise, from the
Thun firm, took on the role of chef and had fun preparing a typical
Italian dish in the new "Kitchenette" by Salvarani, using pans from
the Terra TVS line, with the aim of recreating the warm, intimate
atmosphere of the home. The aim of the three Italian companies was
to invite people to bring back tradition and to rediscover the
“luxury” of flavours from days gone by and the joy of
healthy eating, choosing local, simple and quality
ingredients. On 13 April, at the offices of financial
newspaper "Il Sole 24 Ore" (Via Monte Rosa, 31 Milan), on the
occasion of the launch of the new issue of AREA – bimonthly
architecture magazine – entitled “Around Food", an
exhibition dedicated to Matteo Thun was presented: a showcase for
the TVS ranges created by the designer.
