TVS: Company History
TVS: the value of innovation, for a brand that has been a world leader for over 40 years.
When a company has a history of more than 40 years, its value is
measured by its ability to renew itself and keep up with the
times.
TVS today offers ranges entirely dedicated to the theme of ecology,
products that are highly refined from the technological point of
view and move increasingly closer to market needs, with lots of new
features created by professional designers: this is our way of
continuing to build our history as a leading brand that is
constantly innovation-oriented and projected towards the
future.
The 60s and 70s
TVS started up in 1968 in the Urbino area, and as early as 1974, it became a licensee of Du Pont, world leaders in the production of non-stick coatings with the Teflon trade mark.
The 80s and 90s
During this period, TVS achieved very high technological standards and started collaborations with some of the largest international distribution chains. In the 90s, TVS continued to carry out research into both technical and aesthetic aspects.
2000-2010
In 2004, the fusion of TVS archetypes and Matteo Thun’s design gave rise to Archetun, the prestigious collection of TVS non-stick cookware, winners of some high-class international awards. Collaborations with important designers continued, with LadyPlus, a range developed by Giugiaro Design on the theme of comfort cooking.
2000-2010
In 2008 TVS launched the Eco ok project, a range of environmentally-friendly products. TVS’s continual creativity and attention to research reached a new height with Earth, a design that arose out of the collaboration with the IED (European Institute of Design).
